The legal bases for data privacy can be found in German Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act. Please note that security gaps exist in internet-based data transfer, and that it cannot be comprehensively protected against access by third parties.

Access data / server log files
The provider (i.e. their web space provider) collects data on every access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes: Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of the access, volume of data transmitted, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the querying provider. The provider uses the protocol data only for statistical evaluations for purposes of the business, the safety and the optimisation of the offer. The provider however reserves the right to retrospectively examine the protocol data if, as a result of concrete indications, there is a justified suspicion of an unlawful use.
When contacting the provider (for example via contact form or email), the data of the user is stored for the purpose of processing the query and in case follow-up questions arise.
Handling personal data
Personal data is data that can be used to determine a person that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. Information on preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites have been looked at by someone also count as personal data.
Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider when this is legally permitted or when the users consent to the collection.
YouTube, Google Maps – integration of services and third-party contents
Contents of third parties, for example videos from YouTube or map data from Google Maps, are integrated into portions of our online offer. This always assumes that the provider of these contents (hereinafter also "third-party provider") uses the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they could not send the contents to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus required to display these contents. We endeavour to only use such contents whose respective provider only uses the IP address to supply the contents. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party provider stores the IP address for example for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us, we inform the user of this.
Internet pages of third-party providers/links
Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with the data privacy regulations. These links to websites of third parties do not represent any approval of their contents on the part of the operator of www.herole.de. The operators assume no responsibility for the availability or the content of such websites and no liability for damages or injuries that result from the use – regardless of the nature thereof – of such contents. Links to other websites are made available to the users of this website solely as a convenience. Any connection to these websites shall be established at the user’s own risk.
Revocation, amendments, corrections and updates
The user has the right to request access to information about what personal data has been stored without charge. The user additionally has the right to the correction of incorrect data, and the blocking or deletion of his personal data insofar as this is not opposed by any statutory requirement to preserve records.
